Lower Saxony’s Premier visits Lenze

At the HMI, Stephan Weil finds out about solutions for easy engineering in the machine-building industry

The Prime Minister of Lower Saxony, Stephan Weil, paid a visit to the Lenze stand at the famous industrial fair in Hannover, the HMI, learning about the company's range of products and services. The specialist for drive and automation technology, with major sites in Aerzen/Gross Berkel and Extertal/Bösingfeld, was presenting solutions in the context of Industry 4.0. This initiative places special importance on energy efficiency and the networking of machines, so Lenze is offering intelligent drive solutions and software modules that can be used, for example, in automobile production, in packaging machines or in conveyor systems.

The Lenze board of directors, consisting of Christian Wendler, Frank Maier and Dr. Yorck Schmidt, welcomed the Prime Minister and introduced Lenze as a technology partner that provides its customers all over the world with support in creating machines quickly and easily - from the initial idea right the way through to safe and reliable machine operation. At the fair, Lenze exhibited modular and standardised software along with intelligent drive packages that promise to carry out machine tasks as easily and reliably as possible while at the same time significantly reducing the time and effort required for engineering work. Lenze demonstrated at its stand that this pledge to customers is a pledge with substance: visitors were able to get to grips with three exhibits, commissioning a roller conveyor in 3 minutes, a belt conveyor in 5 minutes or a gantry robot in 7 minutes.
